Do I need to pay in advance to reserve a date?
No advance payment is required for lifestyle, portrait, newborn, headshot, or event sessions. Full payment is due on the day of the session. Wedding bookings require a signed agreement and a 30% non-refundable retainer.
What if my children do not sit still?
They do not need to. Children can move, play, take breaks, or warm up slowly. I guide the session around their natural rhythm and still make a few gently directed photographs of everyone together.
Our home is small or dark. Can we still have an in-home session?
Yes. A beautiful home is not required. I look for the best window light and usually need only a bed, sofa, or small uncluttered corner. If the light is genuinely not suitable, I will tell you honestly and suggest an alternative.
Do you have a studio?
I do not have my own studio. Most sessions take place at home or in carefully selected outdoor and indoor locations. If you prefer a studio, I can suggest suitable rental spaces; the rental fee is added separately.
When should I book maternity and newborn photographs?
It helps to contact me during the second trimester. Maternity sessions often take place around 28–34 weeks. Newborn sessions are especially beautiful during the first two weeks, but there is no strict deadline and older babies are absolutely welcome.
Do you help with clothing and location?
Yes. Every session includes help choosing the location, time of day, and clothing that works with your family, the season, and the atmosphere you want to create.
Can partners, siblings, or pets be included?
Yes. Family is part of the story. Partners, children, siblings, and pets are welcome in family, maternity, and newborn sessions.
Who chooses the final photographs?
You receive a private proof gallery and select the number of images included in your package. Extra photographs can be added before final editing.
What does retouching include?
Lifestyle sessions include professional colour and exposure correction plus light, natural retouching when needed. I preserve real features and do not reshape faces or bodies, change clothing colours, or create a plastic look.
When will we receive our photographs?
Final galleries are delivered within 21 days after you submit your selection. Business headshots are delivered within 14 days.
What if the weather is bad?
If conditions are unsuitable for an outdoor session, we can reschedule at no additional charge or choose an indoor location.
Do you provide RAW files?
No. RAW files are unfinished material. Every delivered photograph is carefully selected and professionally finished in my style.
